Anand Pandey started this petition to President-ICAI (CMA) and

Dear Sir ,

First of all I would like to congratulate you on being elected as President of ICAI (CMA) for the year 2019-20.

Sir we have lots of expectations from you as in coming days many vital reforms like New DTC are on the anvil. So this tenure of president-ship has becomes more critical and vital for every CMA. Out of many forthcoming reforms form government side one reform which is surely in our hand , we would like to draw your kind attention into that and  urge you to take this issue on war footing.

As you know that CMA's don't have any registered logo to be used by them officially wherever if desired. Our Sister concerns viz CA and CS have this advantage over us and they do use it officially. Even there is guidelines to use logo by their member issued by the Institute in this regard.

Now CMA is a growing profession at fast pace so it is desirable that we are also equipped with our own distinct image in the market, Thereby its high time that we are provided with a smart and attractive logo which we can use it our Seminars, Workshops, Media Briefing, Advertisements etc. It would be a matter of proud for practicing members to use it on their letter head rather than giving lacklustre and dull letterhead or certificate which ought to be decorated with our distinct logo. Imagine when we all CMA will display on our car as rest all other professional viz Advocates, Doctors do. It will definitely enhance our visibility and brand value in the financial world.

Sir, if needed we should not hesitate in changing current logo design lying under process of registration with concerned authorities but we can’t afford any further delay in the process.

Therefore we all humbly submit this petition before you for you kind consideration.
