It's so incorrect for a child not be able to be a child, because of the paren'ts doings. I do however believe that Chen should not be under arrest and that China introduce a law that allows freedom of speech - like most modern and contemporary countries and cities.

because it is the right thing to do..admire these protesters, who take great risks! I protested too in very light version,and so did my parents once upon a time(mother is now 97)! want to give them a big american style hug.kitty

I doubt that President HU cares, but it never hurts to ask, and if possible exert some economic pressure...
