Mark Santangelo started this petition to President-Elect Joe Biden & Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris

Dear President-Elect Biden & Vice President-Elect Harris,

Our Nation has been assaulted over the past four years by a deadly disease.  One which attacks both truth and justice.  It is a disease of ignorance, and of intolerance and selfishness.  As thousands of Americans die each day, as a direct result of President Trump's denial, ineptitude and inaction to address a deadly pandemic, we feel it is critical that the elements that contributed to this humanitarian crisis be held accountable.

We are petitioning you both to immediately form a special task force based in the Attorney Generals office.  The purpose of this task force would be threefold... First, address the abuses of power by President Donald J. Trump and those who have enabled him by intensive investigation.  Second, review and revise the laws that enabled these travesties to occur.  Third, if warranted, prosecute, to the fullest extent of the law those responsible.

We want to believe in our Government again.  That starts with you.  Do your duty to the American People.  Do your duty to uphold our rule of law.  We do not seek revenge, we seek justice.  When we let criminals escape accountability for their crimes we commit a grave mistake.  An error that directly affects every American. Do not start your terms by perpetuating the transgressions of the past.  We realize that no one person has all the answers but we have placed our faith in you both.  With our votes and with our hearts.  Please, make the right decision.  We look to you to restore our faith in Government and our rule of law.  The division we face in the United States of America will not be overcome until we have justice.

Most Sincerely and with Love for the United States of America.
