Concordia is a beautiful campus with beautiful people on it and we want to ensure that it stays clean. By having volunteer groups help pick up litter around campus every week we can continue to have an environmentally safe campus.

All of us are on campus most of our day and for a majority of us it is where we live. We also have a lot of animals on campus, one main one being Squirrels. By keeping our campus clean we can make sure they stay safe along with any other animals on campus. Every new student that tours our campus can be impressed by how well maintained and clean it is, potentially having an influence in their college decision. Nobody wants to live on a litter filled campus. 

On Friday of every week, about 50 students, who would each have their own designated spot, will help clean up trash around campus. If 50 different students help for 12 months in a year, each student would only have to help pick up trash once.
