Mike Cernovich started this petition to President Donald Trump and

Over one million Armenians were murdered by a genocide organization known as "The Young Turks." The Young Turks led this slaughter of the Armenians for the same reason Hitler murdered the Jews - sheer hatred.

  • The very last Armenian survivors of the 1915 genocide – in which a million and a half Christians were slaughtered by the Ottoman Turks – are dying, and Armenians are now facing the same fearful dilemma that Jews around the world will confront in scarcely three decades' time: how to keep the memory of their holocausts alive when the last living witnesses of Ottoman and Nazi evil are dead?

Despite clear historical evidence of the Armenian Genocide, the United States government engages in a form of "genocide denial," refusing to recognize the Armenian Genocide.

This genocide denial is bipartisan. Republican President Trump, as every other Republican president before him, refuses to call the murder to Armenian Christians what it is - genocide.

In 2009 then-candidate Barack Obama told the Armenian community, "As a senator, I strongly support passage of the Armenian Genocide Resolution (H.Res.106 and S.Res.106), and as President I will recognize the Armenian Genocide." Obama broke this promise, which even the Los Angeles Time found appalling. Armenian hopes crushed as Obama decides not to use the word 'genocide':

  • White House officials have decided that President Obama will not use the word "genocide" to describe the killings of more than 1 million Armenians at the hands of Ottoman Turks when he commemorates the deaths Friday, the 100th anniversary of the massacres.
  • The decision, revealed Tuesday in a meeting with Armenian American groups, backs down from a previous Obama pledge.
  • "As president I will recognize the Armenian Genocide," Obama said while running for president in 2008.

President Trump has the power to end genocide denial in the United States, and the ability to take a strong stance against hatred.

Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day is this April 24th, 2019.

It is time for Trump to do what no other president has had the courage to do.

On this Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day, do not use weasel words or give Turkey a pass for what they did.

Recognize the Armenian Genocide.
