President Trump Must Correct Statement to Law Enforcement on Violence Against Accused
0 have signed. Let’s get to 500.
Today July 28th, 2017, the President of the United States of America spoke to law enforcement at a speech in New York. During the speech the President encourage officers to violate their Oath of Office, the Law Enforcement Code of Ethics, and to break departmental Policies and Procedures along with Municipal and State Laws by encouraging violence against a detained suspect/accused. Unnecessary violence against anyone places officer's lives in more danger, not less.
As a former law enforcement officer, I find this type of language the President described in committing violence against the accused sickening.
This type of violent speech is reprehensible and the President must correct/amend his statement to reflect the principles of our Constitution that provide protections of the accused.
At a minimum the President is inciting violence, and this type of speech is used by terrorist leaders.
Tell the President, enough is enough.
