Fossil fuels are only becoming less relevant economically and more dangerous environmentally.

As soon as 2050, most of the world may need to rely on energy from sources other than fossil fuels. Trinity can be one of the many communities that begin the transition early.

Trinity University claims to value impact and community. Refusal to divest from fossil fuels is showing an utter disregard for the San Antonio community and the university community. Trinity students care about each other and our well-being. We care about each other's families and friends. Climate change affects each of us and Trinity's investment in fossil fuels is only accelerating the damage being done. Investment in fossil fuels is an act of violence against the vulnerable populations that climate change is affecting most.
