K1 Immigration is a slow and frustrating process. It takes several  months to a year to get your fiancé to the United States. Covid 19  made an already too slow process even slower. If you marry in another country it voids the visa and you need to do a process all over again.  I would like to change this law to getting married in another country while waiting on a visa simply converts the k1 visa to a spouse visa and you do not have to start a new clock.
