THANKS!!! 200 Signatures reached! Let's keep going!

Jul 1, 2012 — THANKS! While it would be wonderful if this petition could reach every single consumer in the United States, and the world, it is gratifying to know that a core of people have responded to the call to ask the Chief Executive of the United States to set an example for the United States and the world, and mandate that consumers have basic information about the composition of their food. This petition does not ask for any condemnation of GMO foods. It simply asks that consumers be given the right to make purchasing and consumption choices based on COMPLETE INFORMATION. Just like some do not wish to eat High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS), and the Food and Drug Administration refused to allow a name change from HFCS to "Corn Sugar" because it would confusing or misleading to consumers. The same principle SHOULD apply to GMO foods. We have a RIGHT TO KNOW. THANKS AGAIN, but let's spread this around the Internet and anyplace else that will listen. Let's get the President to hear us LOUDLY!
