Discontinue charging the new $30 upgrade fee!

On April 22nd 2012, Verizon Wireless began charging its loyal customers a $30 Upgrade Fee. This fee is for existing Verizon wireless customers that wish to continue service with Verizon by upgrading their phone in exchange for another 2 year agreement.

This fee hits families the hardest. A family of five that upgrades all their lines can face a total Upgrade Fee amount of an outstanding $150, on top of any subsidized phone pricing or data plan requirements. This is in addition to recent data plan cut backs, like the lose of unlimited data options.

Verizon claims this is to continue to provide us with the same level of service we are used to, yet Verizon stocks show to be just as profitable as ever.

Tell Verizon to stop fleecing families and loyal customers by signing this petition, demanding they stop charging this exorbitant fee!
