There is a referee shortage sweeping across the nation, and soon the world. Without officials administrating sport contests, it's just practice. By adding the Basics of Officiating course at Presbyterian College, students will obtain a new perspective to the work officials do in order for the athletes to compete for a championship. Upon completion of the course, students will have a general knowledge to sign up for a city recreation league, join a state affiliated sport association, and put in the work to have a successful career as an official.
