Beautiful historical building holding so many stories beyond the walls - The Seawalls - with so many memories for all those who have stayed there, memories for the families of those who worked and boarded there.

I’m all for progress but let’s spend the money on updating the current building and site. Don’t build another high rise.

The proposed development is significantly higher than the current restrictions for the area. It would also be a shame to loose the historic building and unique artwork.

We need to retain the charm and beauty of this historic seaside destination. The proposed 13 storey 93 unit development is excessive in height in a current 5 storey height limited zone. This is an unbelievable breach of height zoning and cannot be allowed as a precedent for development resembling Gold Coast ugliness. The State Government must stop this demolition and inappropriate development. It is out of step with what people see as a charming seaside holiday.
