Light the Sydney Harbour Bridge on Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day

Every Australian has been touched by the loss of a baby, either through miscarriage or stillbirth. It might have been you, your parents or a bother or sister. But it touches everyone.

In 2011 New South Wales officially proclaimed October 15 as International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Since then, they have done nothing to promote the day. Nothing to let all those that have lost a baby know that they are not alone, that there is support for them.

This petition is a call to the Government of NSW to show that it supports all people in NSW and Australia that have suffered the loss of a baby through miscarriage or stillbirth by lighting the Sydney Harbour Bridge in Pink and Blue on October 15 - International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. A day that they officially recognise.

NSW should be joining other Governments, Local Councils and business across Australia that light their buildings, venues and landmarks in pink and blue as a show of support and recognition.
