Its disgusting how cyclists are treated, i am personally not a cyclist but my parents are and its not right the stories they have told me about friends and even themselves being injured or killed i dont want this to continue.

as a cyclist who regularly uses the road to cycle to work and also for leisure it is important to me to have these issue amended to make it fairer. I have already lost a few mates to situations involving road accidents and do not wish my family to have to go through this if anything were to happen to me.

As a bike rider I am constantly harassed by ill informed road users who believe bike riders should use the footpath. We have the same rites as other road users and should be treated as such by the law.
