BC NDP MLAs should only earn and live on the minimum wage

The BC NDP government ran on a promise of implementing a $15 minimum wage in 2021, two years after the Ontario Liberals have promised. $15 an hour is a poverty wage and has been a poverty wage for years everywhere in the province.
To make matters worse, BC NDP Labour Minister Harry Bains recently announced they were launching an independent review panel to see about implementing a longer timeline for to bring the minimum wage up to $15 an hour, which is, again, still a poverty wage.
If BC NDP MLAs think the current minimum wage is acceptable, each and every one of them should prove it by putting all their assets in trust and only living on the minimum wage for the remainder of their time in office.
