For years the providers of long term care have been making millions off our elderly.  The current covid-19 situation has brought to light the flaws within this system.   Mismanagement and negligence has lead to rapid spread and death of our loved ones in these facilities.  We demand an inquiry into the management of these for profit long term care homes and an overhaul of the entire system. 

Attached is a photo of our mother through a window at Sienna Living Woodbridge Vista site. Covid-19 spread through this facility very rapidly.  Sienna Living would not answer their phone lines and management within Woodbridge Vista would not respond to our calls instead providing an automated phone message update which did not indicate the number of deaths.  Staff were begging for help, relatives were begging for someone to listen and it all fell on deaf ears.
