These small businesses are the mainstay of our neighborhoods - don’t force them out of the city!!!

This MPAC strategy is an insanity. Ford, start taxing the Uber-rich...you know, your cronies and deep pockets supporters.

Too many great places have closed because of unfair taxes and greedy landlords.

I’m signing because too many good restaurants, cafés, and shops are going under in Toronto.

Ontario/MPAC should not be taxing based on the potential use of properly but rather what the property is being used for.

I think our restaurant scene is losing the diversity it took so long to attain.

This absolutely unfair, when will it stop. We need to keep some of Toronto’s best spots. We will have nothing left but condos downtown. This is not helping Ontario “a place to grow!!! “

I don't want to see local businesses priced out of my neighbourhood and other parts of Toronto and replaced by condo buildings with large chain stores on the street level, as the only businesses that can afford exorbitant rents

Enough with the greed!! Stop killing our artistic culture, and leave small businesses alone. Stop overtaxing them and forcing closure because you are overstretching them financially. Go after the big corporations, they can afford it. Tax fairly according to income/expenses.
