As a Critical Care physician, I am very comfortable having my children attend their dance studio, which has been very diligent in maintaining physical distancing, excellent cleaning protocols, tight screening and classes with numbers in the single digits. I am more comfortable with them going to the dance studio than to the grocery store... Both my children train a total of around 20 hours a week, each.... and have represented Canada in international competition. I would challenge anyone to dispute that doesn’t qualify as an ‘elite athlete’. So far, social gatherings have been the main source of viral spread . Closing down competitive sports as a whole ( and not evaluating on a case by case basis ) seems lazy and careless.

From what I understand the spread of the Virus is happening due to selfish people holding parties and wedding gatherings and not social distancing. Long term care facilities are being hit hard. The Focus should be on support and funding for long term care. Dance studios and their elite competitive team programs follow all the CoVid protocols and to continuously interrupt their training will hinder their performance. My understanding is there have been no reported CoVid infections from any Dance studio. Do the right thing and allow The Dance Pac to reopen!

Students spending time in a dance studio helps to maintain both physical and mental health! These facilities are following the strictest of guidelines when it comes to sanitization, and maintaining the required physical distancing, and class sizes are far smaller than in schools. This is part of their year’s education and should be categorized the same as schools!

Because the studio I teach at goes above and beyond to keep the students and staff safe and healthy. Or youth need outlets to forget these troubling , scary, and unprecedented time. Mental health is as important as physical health.

because this is a VIOLATION of my CHARTER RIGHTS. This so called deadly virus has a survival rate of 99%...that is a FACT....EXERCISE is ESSENTIAL to maintain HEALTH. Funny how WALLYWORLD and other big box stores remain open and ditto for AmaCrap. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH....TIME FOR WAR. We need to start killing these people starting with that Tam hag
