I for 1 think it’s absolutely disgusting how we,as patients have been treated. A lot of us joined the surgery for it’s convenient location. When you’ve got a poorly baby/child having a doctors surgery in your doorstep is ideal. For the older patients it’s convenient as it means no transportation is required or bus journeys. Being able to ring up & get an appointment at the surgery within a few days was convenient. With absolutely NO warning this was stopped !! Having access to a LOCAL surgery is more than convinience for some people it’s a necessity !! Now for an appointment at the surgery it’s a number of weeks before that’s possible. If that’s no good your sent to other surgeries !! I needed an emergency appointment for my toddler & had to traipse 2 children to coronation square which involves catching 2 busses & a walk..Not really great is it. A relative of mine lives a 2min walk from the surgery..which is ideal as she’s recovering from cancer & has fibromyalgia. Not ideal when she has to attend further in her condition. Many other people have spoke of how disappointed they are in the changes to the surgery so I thought I’d start this petition to show the practice managers our thoughts !! Please sign !! LETS GET OUR DOCTORS BACK !!
