Students should be aloud to socialize online, without there being a risk of danger on other apps. when the districts make disicions, they dont think about what the KIDS want, they just wanna know what will make them happy, i thought i was coming to a arts middle school with chior, and other amazing choices to make. But a lot of my middle school fun, has been taken away, and i know other people think the same thing, iv missed out on a lot, some that i was looking forward to since 1st grade. witch never got to happen due to covid... i know tons of kids who use google chats, some dont even have a other divice other than there computers, when it was ristricted, i lost connection with a ton of my elm school friends, i and others have stated this to the district but they wont listen, they say it is only used for online bullying, witch i know is a thing, but punishing the whole school for it isent a very smart option, when there is a lot more at risk than that if you delete it. When the kids of the school try to get the districts attcion, they get pushed away, or hushed, i and most of MY school want to socialize with others, for example: I dont own any other social media, or texting apps, other thangoogle chats.
