As the holiday season rapidly approaches, there has been discussions of a community celebration. Coming together for the holiday season is a way the People's Place of Prestidigitation  to create a sense of belonging with fellow magicians and promote community harmony. But a celebration needs a mascot and few are as ubiquitous and beloved as Santa Claus. I propose we elect PPP memever Sideways Simon as the official Santa mascot for the People's Place Of Prestidigitation Holiday Season. Simon has fostered a good relationship with many of the members due to his generosity with his time and resources, going as gar as to offer to ship people his own personal copies of Tarbell to borrow. Simon has also displayed his ability to present character driven presontaions such as his PPP contest entry where he uniquely portrayed the role of Jesus. And I would be remiss if I did not mention the beard.

I would also like to nominate our own JB-N3RDz as the official elf assistant to Simon given the working relationship between the two.

In the spirit of the holiday and for the goal of bringing bringing the People's Place Of Prestidigitation together as a community I can think of no better person to nominate for the honored role of Santa than our own Sideways Simon.
