PPB Residents, Tourists, Consumers started this petition to PPB Zoning and Planning Board

We the town residents, tourists, consumers, tax payers and committee members, wish to lend our collective voices in support of the proposed zoning application by Steve Fisher, the Monticellos, Ms. Schultz and Ms. Ranucci at the historic Gottlieb Building while strongly opposing the unclear and facetious objections of Mr. Scott Dolan and Mr. Edward Liston.

As investors and supporters of Point Pleasant Beach's vitality, we demand no further delay in the revitalization and restoration of our downtown. We firmly support, and urgently need, the proposed zoning for a public market and community venue, boutique "hotel" and knitting shop. The proposed zoning and usage request will stimulate economic development and visual vibrancy, restoring our town to it's former glory.

We also wish to express our concerns for the state of the objector’s building. We request immediate attention to the deterioration of said building that has accelerated the blight of Downtown PPB. The ongoing deliberate filibuster to deflect from a determination on this promising application is disgraceful. We are in an unprecedented time where small businesses are struggling enough, we don’t need more politics and theatrics.

We stand in full support of the Fisher's, Monticello's, Ms. Schultz and Ms. Ranucci’s request to embark on something extraordinary and vibrant for our town. We respectfully request Mr. Dolan's frivolous complaint and anticipated appeals, be dismissed and seen for what they truly are.

We request a final determination, in favor of the applicants, be made on January 28, 2021.
