every trans child knows the pain of having your name called out at the beginning of a school year for attendance. i believe students should be able to go to the front offices of every school and be able to change their name in the system to avoid bullying towards trans children and discrimination. it is a necessary step in children's trans rights and a simple fix. higher authority should be able to alter the information in students profiles in PowerSchool, ItsLearning, and other common platforms for schools.
