Florida, the United States' sunniest state, is not allowed the free use of solar panels and energy as small business and residential levels. While these limits are placed on many other states around the nation as well, this shows the ridiculous nature of such bans. Annually, we release an average of over 50 billion tons of pollutants into our atmosphere, and we need to be releasing 0 in order to begin reversing the damages to our climate that threaten the integrity of our planetary habitat. Clean, renewable energy is a major key to achieving this seemingly outlandish goal, and yet is being held from many citizens of America. These limitations must be removed, and more work should be done to promote the general use of solar panels nationwide.
