In the Philippines, poverty is a major issue. Poverty in the Philippines is caused by a variety of factors, and it has a significant impact on the lives of Filipinos. Corrupt politicians are one of the biggest causes of poverty in the Philippines. Powerful people are just concerned about themselves. They abuse their power and take advantage of government finances for personal gain. They make billions of dollars while the underprivileged who voted for them go hungry. In the Philippines, corruption is a major cause of poverty. Philippines citizens are also to be held responsible for the country's poverty. The Philippines is an overpopulated country with insufficient family planning and no sex education. As a result, massive population explosions occur. With limited resources, any government finds it challenging to meet the needs of such a vast population. Poverty affects not only one person but the entire country. It stifles the country's economic development. It also raises the crime rate because when people's dreams aren't realized. As a result, the rate of crime increases. The diseases spread readily in poor places due to poor sanitary facilities.

The country's citizens must be well-informed about family planning and disaster management. If we eradicate poverty from Philippine society, we must take two major steps that lead to excellent administration and effective education for a better change in the future.
