Covid-19 as we know has caused many disruptions to our everyday life and we continue to adjust day by day. Staying safe and healthy is very important and following the safety measures Pottsgrove School District put in place would keep each and every student safe. Parents and students were given the option of choosing virtual or hybrid schooling. The school board overruled the majority of parent and students votes and made schooling completely virtual. Each student learns differently and should get the option that was originally offered which was for us to choose our own educational option. In person education is fundamental for most students in order for them to learn to their maximum abilities. Furthermore, band, orchestra, chorus, and sports are focal points in young children's daily lives. Getting these activities taken from us not only detiriorates our mental health but also our physical health. We need to adjust, adapt, and follow corona safety measures instead of letting the virus control us. If we have no choice we have no voice. Let your students be heard.
