Mail carriers have been told by supervisors that they will no longer be receiving overtime pay, thereby creating mail that would be left behind each day. This policy will lead to a growing backlog of mail pieces and packages that will pile up in plants and post offices. A major consequence will be destroying timely mail-in voting for our upcoming Presidential election, causing many ballots to be received after their states' deadlines, resulting in votes not being counted. Please demand that mail carriers be allowed to earn overtime pay during this economic downturn and in preparation for the election on November 3, 2020!
