Possible Night Club plans for Streatham Hill - Have your say

Dear Streatham Hill /Telford Park Residents
This is important….if you like the quiet and peaceful environment of Streatham Hill.
I am sure that you will have noticed recently, on two occasions, that the owners of the Bingo Hall (110 Streatham Hill) have conducted sound tests for Sound Tolerance levels in our neighbourhood.
These tests have involved a private sound technician being employed by the building owner to set up massive speakers and to play Audio music at extreme volume levels for 2 to 3 hours into the late evening past 10pm. (13th March between 19:00-23:30 and 26th March 20:00-22:15).
These tests are being carried out to assess how the building should be modified to cater for a change of use into a night club.
If you wish to object to this as a plan (that has not yet been submitted to the council) it is essential that all our views are shared with our MP and Councillors.
Imagine hearing the thud of the pulsating deep base shaking your windows long into the night, not to mention the litter from the take-away shops that will thrive, and the shouts and screams of late night revellers on their way home through our peaceful streets. This is exactly what we could be looking at if we don’t take collective action now.
Below is a petition link which needs your signature in preparation for presenting to our MP and councillors in Lambeth.
The building is listed so the uses are limited for the owners but surely we don’t want a night club on our doorstep.
If you agree with this view please take action now through this link below.
