I am a Senior at Portland State University (PSU) studying Public Health. I, along with fellow public health students are required to take a 2 sequence class, titled "Program Planning & Evaluation" in order to graduate from PSU. This sequence class is extremely important to us as undergraduates applying to graduate schools and wanting to soak in the knowledge of how to create and implement public health programs.

Unfortunately, the instructor who teaches this class online has failed to effectively teach us about the importance of program planning and evaluation. Many of us feel let down by the fact that we pay 8 credits worth of tuition and spend a lot of our time invested into these classes, yet we take away little knowledge or satisfaction from either of the 2 classes (Aside from the required book that we have to rent/buy for this course).

I, along with current and former students have been greatly disappointed with the way this class is taught and handled.

Over the course of our 10 week term we have dealt with poorly and thoughtlessly written instructions for our assignments, very late feedback for assignment grades and emails, lack of support, and overall feelings of lack of interest in teaching from our professor.
