People out here have been dying literally dropping like flies I am a 16yo kid who just lost his going 5 years friend last night to a shooting the people pulled up on him and shot him 9 times in the chest. Then 3 hours later there was another shooting not even 5 minutes away from my house more than 90 shot were fired people are dying already from covid-19 we don’t need more deaths these hooligans are gonna kill each other than there’s gonna be no more to kill and we need it to stop the way I watched my friends mom cry over her son it hurt me a lot. I watched my 72yo grandma cry over this shit because she knows how bad it is. She has to watch these kids die from this senseless violence and it needs to stop. They are doing it because respect or instagram or internet beef they don’t think about the impact it has on people. On the family they are killing. I had to listen to my friends mom say his sisters birthday is in 9 days and he wanted to be there and now she saying how am I gonna tell her, her brother is dead 9 days before your birthday like what kinda shit is that. 1,702 homicides in the last year of Portland, people are dying senselessly from people who don’t think about there actions we need to get these people off the streets no matter what at this point we aren’t doing anything but sitting around and letting it happen and letting them just kill each other it’s sad that we have to do this but I want something done
