En el condado de Henderson, North Carolina, la población inmigrante y trabajadora de origen hispano represente (no oficialmente) alrededor de 14% de la población local. 

El acceso a la vivienda digna y accesible se vuelve un tremendo reto, ya que el estatus migratorio de nuestras familias o los costos elevados de renta nos excluyen de oportunidades de vivienda digna. 

Nuestras familias no merecen seguir viviendo en condiciones de abuso haciendo pagos excesivos en viviendas que no reúnen las condiciones de bienestar ni de seguridad. No profundicemos la pobreza en nuestras comunidades. 

Solicitamos al Condado asi como otras organizaciones locales ABOGAR por crear oportunidades de vivienda digna y accesible para nuestra comunidad que aportan riqueza y representan una fuerza de trabajo esencial en este condado de Carolina del Norte.

In Henderson County, North Carolina, the immigrant and working population of Hispanic origin represents (unofficially) about 14% of the local population. 

Access to decent and accessible housing becomes a tremendous challenge, as the immigration status of our families or high rental costs exclude us from decent housing opportunities. 

Our families do not deserve to continue living in abusive conditions by making excessive payments in homes that do not meet the conditions of well-being or security. Let's not deepen poverty in our communities. 

We petition the County as well as other local organizations to advocate for creating decent and affordable housing opportunities for our community that bring wealth and represent an essential workforce in this North Carolina county.
