Students and Alumni of Madonna University were arrested December 2018 by management of Madonna University headed by Rev. Fr. Edeh. They were charged for a facebook post they made accusing the school of irregularities and which they profer solutions. (Charge sheet attach).

The seven of them were arrested by SARS order from Rev. Fr. Edeh and they were remanded in Prison custody. On the 21st February, 2019, bail was granted and all effort to secure their release have been frustrated by Madonna University Management. 

We hereby call on the Pope Francis, Catholic Bishop Association of Nigeria, President Buhari, National Assembly and Student bodies to urged Rev. Fr. Edeh to release the seven students from prison custody.
