There are many Australians that are struggling a lot financially. (3.24 million people live below the poverty line in the whole of Australia. thats 13% of the population. These people should be helped by the government. 

The government should increase Centrelink payment because it's definitely not enough for them to have a good quality of life. $500-$700 every fortnight is not enough at all. They can barely pay their bills so they keep the heater off in winter which could lead to them sometimes getting sick.

By increasing the Centrelink payment, these people could end up back on their feet and getting a stable job. This could greatly change and improve the work force, making Australia an even better country than it already is.
