BISMILLAH IR RAHMAN IR RAHIM...

In the midst of the current circumstances, we should understand that there is a great need to attend Masjid. Just as we use every possible means to earn a livelihood during restrictions and during the difficult circumstances in these trying times, we must aim to continue to pray in our masjid in congregation. The masjids are not giving us the virus. 

 Masjids were never closed, even during huge plagues. Performing Salaah in the masjid is not a privilege afforded to us by any worldy authority. It is a privilege given to us by The Almighty Allah Ta'ala and it can be taken away from us at any time.

We have not been asked by the government to close our Masjids and so we must not oppose any unnecessary restrictions. We urge those who are responsible , not to close the masjid on their own accord or be the means of closing the House of Allah Ta'ala. The masjids are where we should turn to when faced with hardship and difficulty just as the Prophet sallahu alayhi wa sallam and the sahaba did.

All the current conditions and hardship we face are given to us by Allah Ta'ala and only he can assist us in removing these trials .We have adopted precautions and put in place safety measures, wear PPE if you would like, or don't frequent the masjid if you don't feel comfortable but DONT CLOSE THE MASJIDS... Allow those that yearn and have love for the Masjid to answer their call to prayer to the Almighty as it should be, in the masjid and in congregation... 

Sickness and health as well as death all comes from Allah Ta'ala. Sickness and difficulty is a means of cleansing ones sins and elevating ones status in the hereafter. We cannot escape it. We stand in our businesses daily for upto 8 hours daily, but we fear praying to our creator for a mere 10mins in the masjid. 

Allah Ta'alas mercy is what we need. Let common sense prevail.
