Unfortunately, we all know not all law-enforcement officers are trustworthy, honest, unbiased, rational or good individuals.  They are like any other citizen, they make mistakes, bend the rules and are capable of lying. The difference is they have power to take away another persons freedom, their rights, their future and there money.  People with that much power over all other citizens should be monitored while on-duty. They should not only be required to wear Body Cameras but any citizen that comes in contact with a law enforcement officer should be able to request a copy of the body camera footage during their contact.   Sheriff's officers in Polk County are the only sheriff agencies in Florida that don't use police video systems, according to FDLE.  Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd claims he’s against the body cameras because it will invade our personal privacy.  He does not think the benefits outweigh the invasion of our privacy.  Even though the only time this camera footage would been by anyone would be in a court of law when it’s used as evidence or at the request of the person in the video.
