My name is Clyde Matthews, and I'm a father!

My son Messiah was born April 23, 2012, and that was the best day of my entire life! I had always known that when the time came for me to have a child it would change my world completely. And it did. It's just unfortunate to learn that it caused a more dramatic change than I had ever expected.

When I first came to learn that I was going to be a proud father of this special kid, my emotions went through the roof! It wasn't until later that I discovered that the mother of my son was legally married to another man, only to help him gain immunity from the United States of American to be deemed a legal U.S. Citizen. This person is only relevant in this situation because she has been secretively working with this individual to maintain the coverup of a scandal they have devised to keep my son away from me, when I have never done anything to bring him harm.

I have made many attempts to correct this fraudulent error by contacting both parties so that my only child will finally know the truth of his history. Sadly, the mother is not responsible enough to do what is legally right in the eyes of justice. Recently, I had consulted a lawyer, and he advised me to reach out to the "legal father" of MY child and ask/persuade him to relinquish his responsibility to my son so that I may be able to be with him in this lifetime. As the biological father of this child, I feel that I don't have to "ask" for permission to see my kid! Unfortunately, the State of Florida is supporting unjust acts such as this which makes it even more complicated for the biological parent.

This is a petition to establish an abolishment of said laws that grant rights to those that have no genetic relationship to the children we bring into this world. Especially when there are real, active parents out there who wants to be with their families. I have made many attempts to get these people to honor my request, but to no avail. In my eyes, this is kidnapping!!! I love my son more than my own life and will sacrifice my life to save his from the people who are holding him against his knowledgeable will. This is wrong in so many ways. Help me convince the legislators who made these laws why it is imperative to eradicate the laws that makes this okay in our American Society by signing this petition today!
