All young people under 16 should be able to travel for free. School is mandatory so getting there should cost nothing. School kids are being left at bus stops by drivers if they cannot pay and that’s a risk to their safety given how they just want to get to school and back again. We need to eradicate this belief that school children are as liable as an adult. They should have the comfort of knowing they will not be refused the right to get where they need to go in a safe manner.

The governments plan to end free travel for under 18’s is a shambles and once again proves the incompetence of those who run this country.
