Discrimination On the Basis of Rank in Maharashtra Police
There is no denying that government jobs are given to their children in place of government employees or officers who die during their employment in various government jobs. But what about those Police officers who serve the nation and take care of public round the clock?
Children of policemen also get the job but their rank should be less than PSI. Why is there discrimination on rank basis? The children of the police officers who are in the rank of Assistant Police Inspector (PSI) or their posts are not recruited in lieu of compassion. Today, the children of many government servants are given jobs for their children as they lose lives, but when a serious illness causes death of a police officer (lower than PSI rank) during his service; his son is not given a job in his post. Why is this discrimination done?
Today, numerous police men are dying while on the job. But the government does not think of their families. What do they have to do after their service? What will they do to survive? What about their children's education? They demand answer of such questions. The family of police men is justified enough to expect that the government should think and make positive decisions at the earliest.
