Why should a speed camera be placed on builyeon road?

I'm writing this to try and convince you that a speed camera should be placed on builyeon road/A904 for numerous reasons.

Builyeon road is a road in South Queensferry and the speed limit is 30mph which is clearly marked on both sides of the roads, however I would say about 95% of people don't stick to it. People rally down the road for stupid reasons.

Say you're driving down the road at 40mph and there's a bus at a bus stop and someone walks out onto the road and you hit them because you couldn't stop in time.
"If someone is hit by a car at 40 mph they are 90% likely to be killed. If someone is hit by a car at 30 mph they are 50% likely to be killed. If someone is hit by a car at 20 mph they are 10% likely to be killed."

There is lots of pets around this area too and I'm sure if you're on the local Facebook pages then you'll have seen a few of the posts of users saying that there's another cat been hit by a car and has sadly passed away. This has personally now happened to me twice and has caused so much heart break in the family and I know my family is not the only one. I'm certain that some of these pets could have been spared their life if people stuck to the speed limit (30mph), I'm sure not all of them would have but possibly some of them. There is kids in the area too it only takes a few seconds for one to get excited whilst walking to McDonald's and trip or get pushed by a friend onto the road without thinking.

I have also included a picture of one of the signs that state that the road is 30, it seems covered up by a tree but this photo is from Street view and I drive past it everyday and it is clearly visible.

Thank you for reading.
