We need MORE Police in Bassetlaw - FACT. 

We need MORE Police to help tackle Crime and Antisocial Behaviour in our Town Centres, especially Worksop Town Centre. 

Across Bassetlaw we need MORE Police in Retford and Harworth to support our local bobbies on the front line and more police to support our rural communities. 

Due to previous Government budget cuts Nottinghamshire now has LESS Police than in 2009. FACT.

More Police are being recruited. This programme began under the previous Police and Crime Commissioner. 

This petition calls upon the new Police and Crime Commissioner to prioritise

• More Police on the front line in Bassetlaw as part of the Commissioners new Police and Crime Plan.
• Recruitment to be accelerated and for new officers to be deployed on the front line in Bassetlaw as a priority. 

The Town Centre bobbie in Worksop does a brilliant job. He needs more colleagues to help support his work tackling crime and ASB in Worksop Town Centre. 

We need more Police on the front line tackling crime and supporting the public against the actions of the irresponsible minority. 

This petition fully supports our excellent Police Officers and calls for the Police and Crime Commissioner to ensure more front line Police are recruited and deployed in Bassetlaw over and above the existing rate of recruitment.
