ShanmugavelMurty Agri started this petition to PMO (Prime Ministers Office) and

Government of India is trying to promote ZBNF (Zero Based Natural Farming) as a recommended policy and government seems to be formulating policies  which reverses existing support to activities such as production, import, distribution and subsidy for chemical fertiliser and other agricultural inputs. Any reversal of existing policy will put enormous economic burden on Indian farmers who are completely dependent on chemicals, primarily after the advent of Green Revolution. ZBNF  has not been proven to be economically viable for large scale agricultural production supporting food security and more importantly the economic well being of the farmers. ZBNF has not been scientific validated, vetted or approved by the scientific community or any government agencies like ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research).

Unless the experiments are done and scientifically proven with the goal of achieving  productivity and economic viability these drastic changes cannot be imposed on farmers.

This petition is to seek support from the public at large to stop the government formulating any policy which will reverse existing policies on production, distribution, import and subsiding chemical fertilisers thereby putting an enormous burden on farmers and their livelihood.

Edited the petition to remove any reference to "creation of a law". Also edited one typo name "Government of Indian" to "Government of India"
