New Zealand has been in lockdown for a week now - so many lives have been affected by this. Understandably people need to be able to return home from overseas and it would make sense to test everybody and put them into mandatory quarantine, as most cases have been brought to New Zealand by travellers.

It is not acceptable to all of us staying at home to have people entering NZ, freely accessing shops and other places carrying the virus they might not be aware of.

We already feel like 4 weeks won't be enough time to battle the virus and go back to lower alert levels. Not testing these people adds more risk and will lengthen the time we all need to stay self isolated and will further affect the economy, businesses and people individually.  

Please test all new arrivals as they get off their planes and safely quarantine them for the sake of everybody in this country.
