The Short Service Commissioned officers (SSCO's) who joined the Armed forces for terms of engagement of 5 compulsory years of service, extendable by 5 years, followed by 7 years compulsory service extendable by 3 years & presently 10 years compulsory service extendable by 4 years have been fully exploited by the Govt. after extracting prime of their youth & retrenching them from service with no medical & pension benefits, thus making this lateral entry curse to the nation and humanity by causing violation of human rights. The youth of the nation should not be misguided in the garb of patriototism, valour & motivating them to join the Armed Foces as the Govt. Intends not to pay pension & deprive them of their medical & pension benefits more pertinently after OROP (One Rank One Pension) has been implemented by the Govt, but the rank of Capt. at which Short Service Officers are laid off from service has been completely sidelined wilfully.
