Megan Wagstaffe started this petition to Plymouth College of Art and

Call on our university, Plymouth college of art to debate and resolve the issue to reduce our university student tuition fees. This petition will allow students to speck about the issue with tuition fees of £9250 a year, which is far too much money we have no teaching, equipment/resources or facilities.

On BBC and ITV good morning Britain where the universities minster, Michelle Donelan states “the government sets the maximum fee, and it’s up to the universities to decide what they charge. Every university has decided to charge the maximum fee, the government expects the quantity, quality and accessibility to be maintained”.

However this is not the case Plymouth college of art I urge you to decrease the amount of tuition fee to the same amount of a online course. In which that is what we received. How are we, as students, suppose to produce a high quality amount of art work with no resources or facilities or teaching with a 5 min zoom once or twice or week.

The students have voiced this concern a number of time from specking to the university to signing petitions, to which you said it’s the government decision however this is incorrect, this is your decision. In which the government have said on live TV. Why are we still being charge the full amount of tuition fees where we are having unvalued education?
