For about a year or so now, block 14 has been unfairly targeted by stewards under Jon Backs leadership. Since the start of this season a group of fans have been threatened by stewards and threatened to have season tickets revoked.

Things seemed ok until the Scunthorpe game where stewards were targeting fans for standing and subsequently ejecting them at half-time.

The actions of the stewards under Jon’s control has been nothing short of a disgrace. This has increased a sense of hostility towards the non-first team staff at Home Park, Chants of “We’ll stand when we want” in Block 3 on Saturday proves this.

We call on the club and Simon Hallett to relieve Jon Back of his job before the toxic atmosphere at Home Park gets worse. All we want is to be able to get behind the team and create a positive vibe around Home Park, but currently this is far from the case.
