Voodoo Stein started this petition to Mattel and

In 2016, Mattel has made an announcement that they will be rebooting Monster High as a result of financial issues. Instead of a dark design, the dolls of Monster High went to a whole new direction by being replaced with a more colorful, friendly, and a new look in order to be appealing as a way to attract more of the younger audience.

With a brand new look and brand new story, Mattel was ready for the adventure. They were hopeful and that their approach will persuade more younger audiences to the franchise. Their dreams of attempting to return to its rightful glory however was short lived.

By 2018 Mattel has quietly cancelled Monster High, and also shutting down doll production. Then the bankruptcy of Toys “R” Us and the entire liquidation of Toys “R” Us in June of 2018 has devastated Mattel financially. Furthermore the creator of Monster High, Garrett Sander, had left Mattel around June in 2018, which became sad news to the fans. However, Mattel managed to back up the claim that the franchise isn’t completely dead based upon their Twitter post back in October 2018, stated that they haven't abandoned Monster High completely, but will come back to work on Monster High around the future.

Now people may believe that Monster High is over. So this is why I’m here to make that petition in order to persuade Mattel to bring back Monster High. If that happens, then I believe the series will continue with more new content. For example, Mattel can be able to work on a concept for a second season of Adventures of The Ghoul Squad, next restart doll production on Monster High, then make more movies for Monster High, and lastly maybe well continue working on the reboot. Because of their unique personalities and their fashion designs, Monster High deserves a powerful reputation for inspiration among the fans out there.

We do ask everyone if you all can make the opportunity to please sign this petition,  so we can be able to SAVE Monster High!
