The City of Holdfast Bay Council have approved building plans for a telecommunications facility with 5G capabilities to be erected within 300 meters of a local school-Glenelg Primary School. The facility plans to be located in the northwestern corner of Glenelg Oval adjacent to the car park.

The potential health risks associated with close range radiofrequency radiation have already been voiced overseas by over 390 concerned scientists and doctors in six appeals to the European Union, who are requesting a moratorium on the roll out of 5G and stricter guidelines for exposure to radiofrequency radiation. Children of this young age should not be subjected to unknown health risks until adequate studies or data have been compiled and investigated fully. 

Please sign this petition to stop these building plans from going ahead within such a close proximity to our local primary school. Let's help to protect the future health of our children. We ask that the site of the telecommunications facility be reassessed and relocated!
