There has been an increased amount of traffic traveling on County Road 235 due to the area's expansion and growth.  Home and business owners have been battling tremendous amounts of dust and dirt that's negatively impacting their property, homes, equipment and businesses. This petition is to let local Cooke County members and elected officials know there's a strong desire to improve this stretch of road by the home, business and property owners alike.

Vehicles utilizing County Road 235 are not just local residents. They are visitors from Cooke and surrounding counties, surrounding cities and towns, from around the country, and even from around the world.  These same visitors are also patrons of other businesses throughout Cooke County’s cities and municipalities. 

Please consider taking the steps to make this stretch of road more suitable for today’s increased heavy use.
