WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!  Please join our fight to STOP the proposed development on the closed section of Pebble Creek golf course.  The golf course owner closed 9 holes on the Linkside course. The project was rejected by several local developers.  The Owner found 1 development company, Greencity, LLC  from Seattle, Washington to take on the project.  

The development plans are to build 74 townhomes (Phase 1A) on the hole that runs along Stallings Road.  The entrance and exit proposed for this phase will be on the lower end of that property onto Huntcliff Drive.  Huntcliff is a residential street in the Linkside I and II neighborhood. Huntcliff Drive has no sidewalks and is designed for 41 homes.  The streets in our neighborhoods are only wide enough for 2 cars to pass. This street will not be able to handle an additional 140 vehicles.  

Phase 1B will be 1 street down on the other side of Stallings. Behind our homes, 54 townhomes are to be built with exit onto Stallings and Linkside Drive.  Same scenario as Huntcliff Drive.  That will be  another 100 vehicles added to the mix.  Huntcliff and Linkside Drive  face each other at Stallings.  Even proposed turning lanes at this intersection will not be able to accommodate the additional 240 vehicles.

Stallings Road is a main road that runs through the Pebble Creek Community.  It is a heavily traveled road each day.  Stallings, a State Road is also in desperate need of repaving, and is already over the limit of vehicles it can handle. If you live in any of the neighborhoods that dump into Stallings, I’m sure you have experienced long waits just to get out of your neighborhood to turn on to Stallings, especially during rush hours.

Construction of these projects will be done in Phases which will last over a period of 5 years.  Living in a Construction Zone for 5 years will be a nightmare!  Not to mention the “loss of property value” and the integrity of our “single family home” neighborhood.  For those of us that bought our homes “on the golf course” will now have a view of multi-family townhomes, parking lots, dumpsters, etc.  

PLEASE HELP THE CONCERNED CITIZENS OF PEBBLE CREEK STOP THIS DEVELOPMENT.  YOUR SIGNATURE WILL HELP US REACH OUR GOAL!!!!!  PLEASE SHARE THIS PETITION TO HELP FIGHT THIS DEVELOPMENT!
