IN 1993 Keith Ross was convicted of a crime of murder but, wasn’t the shooter. He was sentenced to LWOP . Life without the possibility of parole. He has served 30 years  and now is 70 years old. He has taken many classes and has many certification. He has been training dogs for the last 3 years in the dog program ( paws for life) at Lancaster state prison. He has mentored many inmates to get their GED. Keith has rehabilitated himself and will be a productive citizen when released.  We recently found out he has liver cancer.  His whole family has been effected by this sentence. Family and friends have passed away and his children were raised without their father. LWOP Should be abolished in the United States. It is death by incarceration.
